Leicester go ahead, but Saints get stronger

Leicester took the lead in this game after quick thinking played Jamie Vardy into a crossing position from which he found Dennis Praet to finish at the back post.

Going a goal behind could have seen Saints heads drop – especially after losing 9-0 to the Foxes back in October.

However, the exact opposite happened and Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men took control of the game from that point onwards.

Stuart Armstrong’s deflected effort levelled the match up just five minutes after Saints went behind, and they were unlucky not to go into half-time with a lead when Danny Ings hit the bar twice.
