Southampton are back in action tomorrow after a disappointing loss on Saturday that saw them bottle a 2-0 lead in the second half of the match.

Southampton make their way to London to take on Palace who they just saw a few weeks ago which ended in a 1-1 draw. This will be a big match for the Saints as they look to bounce back after a loss and get another win added to their tally.

Palace have drawn 4 of their last 5 matches and will hope to catch Southampton out on short rest and without their best Centre-back, Jan Bednarek.

How Crystal Palace Will Win

Palace are a solid defensive side who look to limit their opponents offensively so they can keep themselves in the match no matter who they are facing.

I suspect this match will play out very similarly to the first. They will allow Southampton to have possession but not do a whole lot with it. They will look to score on the counter, set pieces, or let Zaha do his thing.

If they can limit the visitors to a goal, they should feel confident in their ability to atleast take a point from this match.

How Southampton Will Win

If this match plays out like the first one, they will see plenty of the ball and have plenty of chances to score. What it will come down to, and stop me if you’ve heard this before, they will need to finish more clinically and find the back of the net at least 2 times.

Jan Bednark will miss the match due to an Achilles injury and it will be very interesting to see who Hasenhuttl decides to replace him with in this match. My guess would be Yoshida get the call but I would love to see Danso get a shot or even Vestergaard to have another go.

Saints could easily win this match and they need to put the Wolves match behind them. If they play like they did in the first half they can win this game by multiple goals.

Next. Saints rightly keeping hold of Oriol Romeu for now. dark
