Southampton will look to continue their good run of results away at Selhurst Park when they face Crystal Palace on Tuesday.

The Saints have won their last two games in South London, with their last defeat back in 2016, where a brace from Belgian Christain Benteke helped the Eagles on their way to a 3-0 victory.

Crystal Palace, who currently occupy ninth position in the Premier League table, are five games unbeaten in the league (W1, D4), with their most recent match ending in a 2-2 draw with current champions Manchester City.

Southampton’s loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers spelled the end of a six-game unbeaten run. In that time, the Saints were able to pick up a total of 13 points and progress into the fourth round of the F.A Cup.

The South Coast side currently sit just two points behind their upcoming opponents, with a possible win away from home propelling them above Roy Hodgson’s side.

With the two sides separated by just a couple of points in the league, we’ll look into where the game could be won and lost.
