Moussa Djenepo
Stuart Armstrong’s injury last weekend has handed an opportunity to either Djenepo or Sofiane Boufal to take up an Attacking-Midfield role.
Djenepo’s influence on the season has faded a little since he burst onto the scene with superb goals against Brighton and Sheffield United, but he is still a player capable of providing match-winning moments in the second part of the campaign.
He’s started just seven of Saints’ 24 Premier League games to date, but no other players at the club can beat a man one-on-one like him or Boufal.
Given that Stuart Armstrong provides a certain amount of defensive cover too, it will be vital that Djenepo has some positional discipline in his play to help the Full-Back behind him.
