Liverpool 4-0 Southampton: Premier League – Three Key Moments
By Joe Mcindoe
Saints Paid the Penalty
In their typical fashion Liverpool went from one end of the pitch to the other as if at Warp speed. Possession found its way to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The former Saint failed to show any mercy to his once employers as he lined up his shot from the edge of the D. Alex McCarthy stood stock still as the low shot whistled past him.
The goal opened the floodgates for Liverpool, but it could have been so much different for the visitors had the referee seenemployers it differently at the other end of the pitch.
