Southampton: Looking back at Saints’ last five FA Cup replays

Saints 2-3 Millwall, 2011/12 season

Saints claimed two narrow victories over Millwall in their Championship promotion campaign, but it was the Lions who won by a single goal here in the FA Cup.

Liam Trotter put the visitors to St Mary’s 1-0 up, but Adam Lallana levelled things up 10 minutes before half-time.

Saints sent on talisman Rickie Lambert early in the second period to try and win the game, and the striker duly found the net to make it 2-1 late on.

However, strikes from Dany N’Guessan and Liam Feeney – the latter in stoppage-time – saw the win turned into a loss.
