Brentford 1-3 Saints, 2004/05 season
For this fifth and final replay we are looking back on, we have to go back no less than 15 seasons to the days when Peter Crouch and Kevin Phillips led the line for Saints.
A 2-2 draw with then League One Brentford had forced a replay at Griffin Park, but thankfully for Saints the strength of their attack won the tie.
Brentford did go ahead through Eddie Hutchinson after just four minutes, but it was 1-1 at half-time after Peter Crouch levelled things up.
Kevin Phillips then got in on the act to claim the lead for Saints in the 67th minute before Crouch added a third late on.
Saints team
Paul Smith, Paul Telfer, Calum Davenport, Olivier Bernard (Neil McCann), Danny Higginbotham, Andreas Jakobsson, Mikael Nilsson, Matt Oakley, Rory Delap, Kevin Phillips (Henri Camara), Peter Crouch
