West Ham vs Southampton

The last match before the Saints really started turning their form around saw Southampton lose to the Hammers 1-0 at St. Mary’s in one of the more boring matches of the season. Now, West Ham find themselves in the bottom three and really looking like a relegation candidate with only 13 matches left to go in the season.

The Hammers have not won a match since 5 January and that was against Gillingham in the FA Cup. They have struggled mightily to score goals and to keep the ball out of their own net as well. Whatever can go wrong has seemed to go wrong for West Ham this season and Southampton will need to pounce.

The good news for the Saints is this is the first game in this stretch that is away from ST. Mary’s and we are all aware of how much better they play away then they do at home.

West Ham will play Liverpool the match prior to this so it is likely they will come into this match following a victory and confidence low.

Predicted Score

West Ham 0-2 Southampton

Goal Scorers: Danny Ings, Che Adams (praying he gets that first goal soon)
