Southampton: Path to a top ten league finish starts now

Norwich vs Southampton

Norwich currently sit at the bottom of the table with only 18 points after 25 matches. If the Saints want to be a top half of the table team this is absolutely a match they need to take care of business and win handily.

The Canaries have struggled this season to get results at times this season but that does not mean they are not capable of coming out and winning a match. Man City found that out earlier in the season so Saints do not need to overlook their opponents and get caught out by surprise.

If they take this match seriously and put in the same effort they would against a top 6 side they should be able to win this game comfortable and by multiple goals.

If everything goes as predicted that would be 13 points in 5 matches which would give the Saints a total of 42 for the season. That would likely see them up around 7th on the table and in a potential Europa League spot. No match is easy in this league but if they take care of business they can put themselves in a great spot for the rest of the season.
