Southampton have had many players over the years who will be remembered by fans of all ages.

Some become favourites for memorable performances, whilst some stand out for their strong leadership and personality.

Once players retire though, it is interesting to see the path that they take after leaving the game.

There are clearly some who are cut out to be managers or coaches to apply their vast knowledge – often the leaders on the pitch are strong candidates to become leaders in the dugout in the future.
