Southampton: Saints interested in Bundesliga winger this summer

Milot Rashica, is a winger who is currently playing with Werder Bremen and has started attracting the attention of Southampton.

The 23-year-old attacker possess loads of pace and looks ready to jump to the Premier League and face a new challenge.

Liverpool, are interested in the player as well but many believe it may be too early to make such a large jump from Werder player. Southampton, would be an interim solution and the Saints could develop the player and prepare him for a move to one of the world’s biggest clubs.

This is nothing new for Saints who are seen sometimes as a stepping stone to bigger and better things. If Liverpool are not keen on making a move for the player just yet Southampton have made their interest known but will also face competition from Hasenhuttl’s former club, Leipzig.

This season, the winger has 10 goals in all competitions for his club to go along with 3 assists. Saints could always use more goal scorers as they still continue to struggle finding the back of the net with consistency.

If the Saints can finish in the top half of the table or at least around the 10th spot I think it will show players that they are returning to the team they were a few seasons ago and will once again become a desired destination for players who wish to break into the English Premier League.
