Wesley Hoedt

Hoedt joined Saints back in 2017 after £14m was handed to Lazio to secure his services.

However, he never really settled at St Mary’s and appeared to be out of his depth when it came to playing at Premier League level.

Having spent time on loan at Celta Vigo last season and now with Belgian side Royal Antwerp for the rest of the 2019/20 campaign, Saints should try and move him on permanently in the summer.

This may be dependent on Hoedt being willing to take a pay cut and Saints taking a significant loss on the original fee they paid for him.
