The Hoffenheim player is enjoying a successful season for the club in the Bundesliga and is now linked with clubs like Southampton.

Southampton have been linked with a number of Bundesliga players in the past few months as it seems like a hotbed for solid young talent. Grillitsch is the latest to be linked with a move to the

South Coast but the Saints will have competition from fellow Premier League clubs for the signature of the Austrian.

Newcastle and Arsenal are rumored to be interested in the player who could cost around £25m. That is a bit of steep asking price for Saints but if they want to keep Ralph satisfied with the club, they are going to need to start shelling out some money to back him.

Grillitsch, is a central midfielder who has had 3 assists this season for Hoffenheim and carries an 87.7% pass rate. He controls play in the middle of the park and with the situation with Hojbjerg currently being an unknown this could be a replacement for our Captain if he leaves this summer.

The Austrian is solid defensively and is a great passer. In my opinion he would be a great addition to the team and the club should pursue him as much as they can.

If they get outbid by a club like Arsenal there is not much, we can do about that but I want to see the ambition and going after established players who would help improve the club as much as possible.
