A Swift Exit Equals A Prolonged Headache

Since arriving in the preseason transfer window, Djenepo has been a regular starter for the team. His attacking threat has been an important part of the manager’s arsenal.

Despite, not finding the net since September his three-game absence will prove a headache for the gaffer. Following Djenepo’s expulsion on the 28th minute, the home side failed to create regular opportunities.

The second half saw very little imagination from the visitors, but the home side also failed to make much headway. As Nathan Redmond remains out injured, that leaves RH with very few attacking options in the midfield.

The tricky feet of Boufal will now have to take the majority of the pressure. Until Redmond returns Armstrong will likely have to fill the breach left by the Senegalese man.

While the Scott can be a difference maker, he can’t quite compare to an on form Djenepo. Goals like the one he scored in Yorkshire prove that on his day, the number 12 is a difficult prospect to handle. His pace and power are going to be missed.
