Teun Koopmeiners

Koopmeiners is a highly talented player who is capable of playing in either midfield or defence.

Wherever he plays though, he seems to be able to dictate play for his current side AZ Alkmaar thanks to his superb left foot.

As a set-piece specialist too, he has been able to weigh in with 16 goals during the 2019/20 season so far.

At 22, Koopmeiners is surely one of the Netherlands’ hottest prospects at the moment and Saints could bag some real potential if they look to bring him in.

Saints do lack a goalscoring threat from central areas of the pitch, but it appears that the AZ would bring just that.
