Pol Llonch

Up until the summer of 2018, Llonch had a tough time making himself a regular for the clubs he had been at.

These included spells at both Girona in his homeland of Spain and with Wisla Krakow in Poland.

However, switching to the Eredivisie with Willem II looks to have been a superb move and enabled him to show exactly how good a player he is.

Willem play a high-pressing style with a high number of interceptions and tackles – much like Saints are trying under Ralph Hasenhuttl – and this is mostly thanks to Llonch.

He is the leader in tackles per game in the Eredivisie with 4.6, whilst his 2.1 interceptions per game also sees him rank highly.
