Max Clark

Clark is one of a number of young English players who have chosen to move to the Dutch league to develop their career.

Chelsea’s loan youngsters are the most common example and were shipped out to Clark’s current team Vitesse, but Clark started elsewhere and moved permanently to the Netherlands.

The 24-year-old came through the Hull City youth system and represented England at Under-16 and Under-17 levels before choosing to move on.

He has performed very well for Vitesse this season and has very good tackling and crossing stats from left-back – meaning he could be a good choice for backup to Ryan Bertrand for the 2020-21 campaign.
