2. Jinking run and long-range strike vs Blackburn in 94/95

For many, this is Le Tissier’s best ever goal and was named Goal of the Season back in 1994/95 – however, it doesn’t quite get top spot here.

The Saints forward received a pass just inside the Blackburn half but found himself surrounded by opponents trying – and failing – to get the ball off of him.

All it took to create the room he needed was a shift of the ball left and then right, and the following finish flew beautifully over home goalkeeper Tim Flowers to leave him with no chance.
