Spurs 1-2 Saints, 8th May 2016

Saints went to Spurs and became the last team to win at the old White Hart Lane stadium whilst also pushing themselves a step closer to the Europa League group stages.

Despite starting their campaign in July thanks to European qualifying games, Saints ended the 2015/16 season with four consecutive wins and really showed off the talent that was within their ranks.

Club captain Steven Davis was the match-winner as he popped up with two goals from midfield and fired Saints towards the San Siro the following year.

Saints team: Fraser Forster, Cuco Martina, Jose Fonte, Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Bertrand, Jordy Clasie (Oriol Romeu), Steven Davis, Victor Wanyama, Shane Long, Sadio Mane (Graziano Pelle), Dusan Tadic (James Ward-Prowse)
