Swansea 0-1 Saints, 8th May 2018

Another moment in Saints history where fans will remember exactly where they were.

Everything played out just how Mark Hughes and his team would have wanted as they claimed the win that would ultimately keep them up and send Swansea down on the last day of the season.

Manolo Gabbiadini made scoring important goals a habit during his time at St Mary’s and this one was no different when he bundled home from close range and sent Saints home with a huge three points.

The visitors to the Liberty Stadium were also thankful to Alex McCarthy who put in a superb display of shot-stopping to maintain his clean sheet.

Saints team: Alex McCarthy, Cedric Soares, Jack Stephens, Wesley Hoedt, Jan Bednarek (Manolo Gabbiadini), Ryan Bertrand, Oriol Romeu, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Nathan Redmond (Shane Long), Charlie Austin, Dusan Tadic (Sam McQueen)
