Southampton fans will always look back to 1st May 1976 as one of the days that defines the club’s long history.

Saints won their only piece of major silverware to date on that day as they famously beat Manchester United 1-0 to pick up the FA Cup.

It’s matches like this that fans love to look back on, and particularly in times like this when there is no football on.

The 1st May this year marked the 44 year anniversary of Saints’ triumph at the old Wembley stadium, but we want to put your knowledge of the Laurie McMenemy’s squad from that day to the test.

This quiz will take you through the individual positions of the players involved, and it’s your job just to recall which players ran out in the yellow and blue strip that day.
