First steps into officiating for Davis?

As he continues to develop his coaching with Saints, Kelvin Davis is unlikely to be focused on much else these days.

On Friday though, he had a go at refereeing a game when he took charge of the friendly game between Saints and Bristol City.

It is unknown whether he first venture into officiating was a successful one – perhaps you should ask the players what they thought of some of his decisions.

With league action returning next Friday, it is unlikely that the former Saints shot-stopper will get to don a whistle on the St Mary’s turf again.

He isn’t called Super Kelv for nothing given he has spent time as a player, a manager and a coach with the club though!
