Saints 4-3 Norwich City, Premier League, 2004/05

Both Saints and Norwich would be relegated from the Premier League at the end of this season, but this game would live long in the memory for fans.

There were six first-half goals as both sides went in level at 3-3, but the St Mary’s home faithful would go home happy after  a late winner.

Saints struck back after an early Norwich opener to take the lead after goals from Matt Oakley and Peter Crouch after 20 minutes, but a Danny Higginbotham own goal made it 2-2.

Saints again went ahead thanks to Graeme Le Saux, but Leon McKenzie levelled things up at the break.

There was to be a hero in red and white though as striker Henri Camara fired home from long-range and secured the three points.

Saints team: Antti Niemi, Olivier Bernard, Danny Higginbotham, Andreas Jakobsson (Claus Lundekvam), Graeme Le Saux (Brett Ormerod), Matthew Oakley, Nigel Quashie, Rory Delap (Paul Telfer), Jamie Redknapp, Kevin Phillips, Peter Crouch
