Stuart Armstrong

Since seemingly becoming more familiar with his attacking-midfield role in Ralph Hasenhuttl’s setup, Armstrong has really taken his game to another level.

The Scotland international returned with a goal and assist against Norwich on Friday and is a valuable player to Saints when both an attacking and defending.

Armstrong does not possess a huge amount of pace or trickery, but a willingness to run all game long and a persistence in the press makes him an underrated threat to the opposition.

Three of his four goals this season have come in his last five league appearances and he will want to continue his run of form this evening.

FPL points during the 2019/20 season: 71

FPL points in his last five league appearances: 35
