Sam McQueen

McQueen came through the Saints academy system and worked his way into a squad role in the senior setup.

Since becoming part of the first-team, the 25-year-old has played 29 times and played in a number of different positions – although he has featured mainly as a left-back.

However, a successful loan spell with Middlesbrough last season was cruelly cut short by an Anterio Cruciate Ligament rupture, and he is seemingly yet to recover fully from this injury.

It remains to be seen whether he will feature for the club again or whether Saints will move him on to find another club next year.
