Ajax looking at Hojbjerg

According to a recent report from the Telegraph, Ajax have joined the race to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg this summer.

However, they also say that Spurs remain favourites to secure the Dane’s signature before next season.

Hojbjerg is stalling on a new contract offer from Saints and it appears that the club will be forced to cash in before losing him for free next year.

There has been talk of a part-exchange deal between Saints and Spurs given the strains that the Coronavirus has put on finances but it is unknown whether Ajax would be willing to do something similar.
