It is done, well hopefully, according to a new report from Sky, Southampton have finalized their signing of centre-back Mohammed Salisu.

In a report that you can read here, Southampton have completed their move for La Liga defender, Mohammed Salisu for £10.2m. This is a move almost every Saints supporter has been waiting for and before the club could announce it Sky Sports has reported it is official.

We will still wait for the official announcement but it appears that is the last bit of business for this deal. The defender shined in the Spanish top flight this year and had a number of teams pursuing him.

He passed up an opportunity to play Champions League football for Rennes to play in the Premier League for Saints and Ralph. This is the centre-back we have all been begging for and it will be a treat to see how he develops over the coming years.

dark. Next. Southampton have reportedly agreed two deals with Spurs for the transfers of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Kyle Walker-Peters.

He may not start the very first match of the next season but I would be willing to bet he will play in the majority of matches next season. The main question now is, who will be his centre-back partner?

It will most likely be between Jack Stephens or Jan Bednarek so Hasenhuttl will have some decisions to make. I believe we could see Bednarek win out that other starting spot but would not be surprised if Stephens comes out on top either.

At the end of the day, this is a great piece of business for the club and should excite everyone.
