Goal of the Season

As a result of the players enjoying their football at the moment, Saints scored many goals that could win in this category.

The one I’m going for is Danny Ings’ match-winning strike in the home meeting with Spurs back on New Year’s Day.

If we look back on it, it has everything really. Importance to bring another precious three points, brilliant individual skill from Ings himself, a very decent assist from Jack Stephens back in defence and an excellent finish at the end of it.

If there was a moment in 2019/20 that summed up Danny Ings’ form, it was probably this.
