Sofiane Boufal has had an interesting time at Southampton to say the least and now the winger could be sold for as little as €4m.

According to a report from get football news, Southampton would be willing to let the Moroccan go for as little as 4 million euros this summer if their valuation is met.

Boufal, has had a tumultuous time with the club. He has started and scored wonder goals but has also been out-of-favour and loaned out to La Liga because Mark Hughes did not like him.

There is no doubt he is a special talent as he did out-dribble Messi in La Liga his one season there, but he does not necessarily fit the team anymore.

He looks to take on defenders 1v1 instead of attacking directly and that is not how Hasenhuttl wants to attack. The manager wants to get a shot on goal as quickly as possible and that means direct passing and moving towards net once they get possession of the ball.

So, it is not surprising that Hasenhuttl loves his type of play. I cannot say I would be super upset seeing the player go but it would be disappointing to let him go for such little money.

At one point he was the clubs record signing and now we would not even get half of the money we spent on him back. Surely the club is not that desperate to get rid of him or for the money.

I think it would be a disappointment if we get anything less than £8m-£10m for the player. He is a talent and he can positively impact a team that lacks attacking options and creativity. So hopefully they find a suitor who will pay just a little bit more than what the original report states.
