The Southampton striker scored 22 league goals last season and it should come without surprise that clubs are interested in his services.

A new report that you can read here, has stated that Tottenham Hotspur are looking to bring another striker and one of the options they are considering is none other than, Danny Ings.

It was only a matter of time before a bigger club came knocking around for Danny Ings after the season he had. Spurs are the first and will not be the last.

The good news for Saint’s fans is that he will not go this window so we have our star player for a few more months at the least. The London based club do not think any amount of money would be able to lure him away so they will try again later.

Even if they do come January with an offer I really feel like the club will not let Ings go but it may largely depend on how the club is doing in the League.

Tottenham, are also looking at players like Milik and Belotti so hopefully, they snag one of those two instead of the Saints striker.

Southampton, are taking on Tottenham this Saturday so it would feel right if Ings bags a brace and helps the Saints take three points from the club who are trying to take our top player.

It will be an interesting reunion with our former captain, Hojbjerg who did not have a great match in his debut for his new club.

I am very excited for this match and I think the club will bounce back from the performance they turned in on Saturday against Crystal Palace
