Southampton claimed their first win of the 2020/21 season on Saturday evening with a gritty 1-0 win away at Burnley.

After three uninspiring defeats, Saints fans will hope to see their side grow in confidence now and build some momentum after Danny Ings’ third goal of the campaign won a cagey game at Turf Moor.

With West Brom up next at home too, there is a good opportunity to get further towards the performances levels that were put in last season.

New signings will hopefully add to this and produce a much more rounded group of players overall to put the game plans of Ralph Hasenhuttl into successful action.
