Walker-Peters is a key creator

Kyle Walker-Peters is proving that Saints’ decision to sign him permanently was an excellent one.

He was very active in the opening day loss to Crystal Palace and provided a neat assist for Danny Ings’ opening goal against Spurs last weekend. Against Burnley, he played the defence splitting pass that created the match-winning moment.

Pushing infield from his full-back position, he waited until the ideal moment to put Che Adams through and the striker then simply cutback to Danny Ings to force home.

Walker-Peters will continue to be crucial for Saints in 2020/21 and is proving he can be a danger from a range of positions when coming forward.
