Southampton: Four players expected to leave Saints before deadline

Southampton are looking to bring in a few more players before the transfer deadline on the 5th October.

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s squad is short on depth in a few areas and the club will look to give the team a much more rounded look for the rest of the campaign.

Players on the fringes of the playing group or not included in plans are expected to leave though and recent reports have confirmed potential destinations for some.

The Coronavirus pandemic has had a financial impact on football so fees are expected to be lower and loan deals will be a theme, but getting rid of dead wood will put full focus onto Saints’ own prospects for the season.
