Sofiane Boufal

According to a recent report from French sports news outlet L’Equipe, SCO Angers want to take Sofiane Boufal back to Ligue 1.

The Moroccan has also been linked with moves to Olympiacos and Real Betis in Greece and Spain respectively as he seemingly gets closer to an exit from St Mary’s.

Boufal has never really grabbed the opportunities that have come his way since his arrival on the South Coast and has not featured in Ralph Hasenhuttl’s matchday squads so far this season.

Hasenhuttl has confirmed that he wants to give more first-team minutes to the likes of Nathan Tella and Will Smallbone and Boufal’s departure will allow this.
