Theo Walcott

According to multiple sources including the Athletic’s David Ornstein, Sky Sports News and the Telegraph, Saints are increasingly confident of bringing Walcott back to St Mary’s on loan.

The former England man’s ability to play across the front four that Ralph Hasenhuttl uses makes him an ideal target.

A deal would be dependent on Everton paying part of Walcott’s wages, with the Athletic reporting he is the highest paid player at Goodison Park right now.
