Brandon Williams

According to reports from talkSPORT and Sky Sports, Saints have made a loan enquiry for Manchester United full-back Brandon Williams.

United are close to signing Porto left-back Alex Telles and it was thought that Williams would be sent out on loan to provide first-team football at a high level.

However, reports from the Telegraph this morning confirm that this deal is unlikely given that Williams may not get much game time at St Mary’s over the likes of Ryan Bertrand and Kyle Walker-Peters.
