Angus Gunn to Stoke

Via talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook, Gunn is expected to join Stoke City on loan in a bid to get more first-team opportunities.

However, there appears to be no truth in rumours that Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland would be moving the other way to arrive at St Mary’s.

Gunn has not been a regular for Saints since losing his place in Ralph Hasenhuttl’s team after the 9-0 loss to Leicester City. Alex McCarthy has played in every match so far this campaign, whilst Fraser Forster looks set to compete for the number one jersey.
