Walcott impresses on second debut

With injuries to Moussa Djenepo and Stuart Armstrong ahead of this game, Saints had to throw Walcott straight into the team.

After just a week to train with his new teammates, the former England man would have been forgiven for being a little rusty but that did not seem to be the case.

He was regularly involved when Saints went forward and created a number of chances throughout the game. By full-time, he had made four key passes, one assist, attempted five dribbles and had two shots on goal.

If Walcott continues to contribute like this, Saints will have another great attacking option to call upon.
