Chelsea vs Southampton: Takeaways from Saturday’s thrilling draw
Welcome back Theo
Theo Walcott was immediately thrown into that starting lineup due to Stuart Armstrong and Moussa Djenepo not being available and he showed us why the team was willing to bring him back.
He was part of the third goal and throughout the day was making things happen with his pace and work rate. I am excited to see what he will do for us going forward and if Nathan Redmond does not start to produce a little bit more we could see Walcott taking his starting spot.
It is exciting times for the club and they have another big match this coming Sunday against Everton. If they can get a result in that match I like where the Saints are at as a team despite the slow start.
