What have Everton’s summer signings added?

In comparison to more recent windows, we actually didn’t spend big this window at all. Four signings, three of which necessitated transfer fees all around £20 million, really isn’t much compared to the money we’ve lit on fire throughout Farhad Moshiri’s time at the club.

That being said, this is undoubtedly our most effective transfer window in a long time considering it has turned us from 12th place finishers to Champions League hopefuls.

James has added undeniable quality and chance creation, Allan seems to be the perfect Gueye replacement in defensive midfield, Doucoure is the box to box engine who never stops running, and Godfrey is a promising young defender who strengthens our weakest area of the pitch. Overall, a job well done.
