Took a wide position for much of the first half. Assisted Ward-Prowse’s goal with a deft flick from a throw-in crafted as a set piece. Assisted the second, lofting the ball to Che Adams hanging on the back post. Wanted a goal, and his best chance he may have been offside anyway, but another excellent performance in a win over Everton.
Che Adams, Striker – 8
Two in two games for Danny Ings’ strike partner. Today’s goal was blocked off the goal line two weeks ago, and if things start falling his way, watch out for this team.
Ibrahima Diallo, Substitute Midfielder – N/A
Entered late to give Stuart Armstrong a much needed rest for his work. Interesting enough, he took up position on the wing.
Dan N’Lundulu, Substitute Striker – N/A
A Premier League debut of 7 minutes for the Southampton youngster, slotted alongside Danny Ings, not too bad.
