Number 4

Oriol Romeu – Previous Rank: 5 (+1)

Moving up a spot in the power rankings is Oriol Romeu. The Spaniard is having himself a fantastic stretch of form and has made forgetting about Hojbjerg a little bit easier.

He completed over 90% of his passes on Sunday and put in his typical shift defensively as well. He has been an important factor in Southampton’s current unbeaten streak.

It may still only be a matter of time until Diallo replaces Romeu in the midfield but until that happens I am going to enjoy his current level of play.
