Jannik Vestergaard – Last Week Rank: 5 (+2)

Another day another clean sheet for this man and he is starting to become loved amongst the fans even the ones who doubted him (hand up on that one).

He got beat to one header that fortunately did not lead to a goal but that was really his only blunder.

Overall, it was a great performance by the Southampton defense as they xG for Newcastle was only around .3 goals.

He just keeps making it more difficult for Ralph when Salisu is finally ready but I think we may see a pairing of Vestergaard and Salisu in the near future.
