Confident players = a very good team

There were times last season where the long-term futures of the likes of Alex McCarthy and Jannik Vestergaard with Saints looked precarious.

Inconsistency from some and regular mistakes from others saw us looking at a squad that needed sorting – or so we thought.

With Ralph Hasenhuttl now perfecting his style with Saints and seeing his players playing their roles excellently, this has produced a real confidence.

McCarthy and Vestergaard were, once again, superb in the draw at Wolves. The former made eight saves that were vital in keeping a point for his side, whilst the latter is now the go to man as Saints build up from the back.

How much further can this unbeaten run take Saints and their players?
