Arsenal vs Southampton: Saints travel to London looking for a win

Southampton have now won two-in-a-row since dropping the match to Manchester United and are looking to make it a third against Arsenal.

The Gunners are struggling so far this season and the Saints will be high on confidence when they make the trip to London for the match on Wednesday.

Arsenal have only scored 10 goals this season and will look to snap out of the funk they are in and start collecting some points.

For Southampton, the club has a chance to reach 26 points and keep their spot in the top 4 with a victory. It will be a good match as these two clubs have had some exciting matches the past few seasons.

How Arsenal Will Win

The Gunners still have loads of talent, especially on the attacking side of things but have struggled to get it going this season. With that said, it will only take one moment for the confidence to return and for them to find their form.

The key will be breaking the Southampton press and not letting them win possession in the final third. Arsenal have been shaky in the back and they will need a strong performance from their defense in order to get a result in this match.

I think the Gunners can win this match if they manage to score multiple goals. 1 goal will likely not get it done against the Saints in their current form.

How Southampton Will Win

The Saints will be able to press this Gunners team and if they can successfully turn them over in the final third they should get a number of chances to put the ball in the back of the net.

Hasenhuttl will have the boys ready for this match as they love a match against Arsenal and I think they will come out in this match on the front foot. They will need to strike quickly and not let Arsenal grow into the match. They are already low on confidence so they need to make sure they do not let them have any.

I expect a good game from Che Adams up top and think he may be able to bag another goal in this match.
