Walcott looked extremely motivated and energized against his former club and did not mind having a little celebration against them either.

His pace caused issues all day for the Arsenal defense and was the reason for both his goal and the red card. Overall, it was just a solid performance by the Englishman who looks much more comfortable playing behind the strikers instead of being up top.

I do not think many people knew what his role would be with this team when he came back but he has settled in quite quickly and now looks to have a firm grasp on the starting spot.

I think he will have a big role to play in this squad and just how successful they are this season.
