Hamza Choudhury

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Saints have been offered the chance to sign Choudhury along with Premier League rivals Newcastle and West Brom.

Like Demarai Gray, Choudhury has found first-team minutes hard to come by this campaign and he could be on the move this month if the right opportunity arises.

His ability to screen the defence in central areas and provide forceful forward running at times could fit well into Ralph Hasenhuttl’s 4-2-2-2 system.

Saints certainly need additional numbers in central-midfield positions, but reports of a move for Choudhury in the summer did not prove to be correct and other areas of the squad may need additions first.
