Southampton have a busy schedule coming up and will play 5 matches over the next two and a half weeks and will be playing them with a number of players out due to injury.

It will be tricky to navigate and the Saints may have to grind out some results but I believe Ralph Hasenhuttl will get the players ready to take on whoever they play.

Let us take a look at each of the five matches that are coming up and how we can expect the Saints to fare in each.

Shrewsbury – 19 Jan 21

Southampton will finally take on Shrewsbury in the FA cup tomorrow and will likely have a heavily rotated side to allow some of the starters to have rest for the league matches coming up. We may finally Mohamed Salisu start for the Saints and that is what has everyone excited.

This will be his moment to introduce himself to the fans and finally get a chance to show us what he’s got. If he puts in a good shift I think we may see him introduced into Premier League matches especially if Vestergaard is not back from injury.

Ok, now back to the match. The Saints will likely feature a number of players who do not play often in the league but will still be expected to win this match comfortably. Hopefully, we see some goals from players like Nathan Tella and Dan N’lundulu.

Predicted Score

Southampton 2-0 Shrewbury
