Welcome back to another edition of the Southampton power rankings where we will take a look at the Saint’s best 5 players right now and who is helping the Saints pick up points this season.

It has been some time since the last time these rankings has come out so let us take a quick look at where they stood last time. From 5 to 1 it was Alex McCarthy, Che Adams, Jannik Vestergaard, James Ward-Prowse, Oriol Romeu.

Due to injuries and a bit of a dry spell scoring-wise these rankings are going to look a bit different.

Number 5

Ibrahima Diallo

The young midfielder has come on due to Romeu getting yellow card accumulation as well as injury and has made an instant impact on the pitch. Fans have quickly noticed not only how skilled he is on the pitch but also how smart he is.

He seems to quickly be solidifying a spot in the squad and going to make some decisions tough for Ralph in the future. He is going to be a fun player to watch develop over the years and he is going to be a stud.
