Alexandre Lacazette – Striker

With being Arsenal’s top goal scorer, Alexandre Lacazette just beat former Premier League golden-boot winner Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to the post of the third danger player for this weekend’s game against Southampton.

Never the less, Lacazette is a dangerous player in his own right, being very technically sound with the ball at his feet and a clinical finisher in only averaging 1.6 shots per game, a return of seven Premier League goals in twelve starts is a decent return.

Mentioned before, cutting off the supply lines to Lacazette is more important as it will lower the amount of chances/shots that the Frenchman will get during the course of the game and in return lower Arsenal’s chances of scoring the ever-important goal. Not the most physical of players, the key battle will most likely be between Lacazette and defender Jack Stephens as he could be considered the weak point in Southampton’s backline.

Stephens will also have a point to prove following criticism of his performance against Leicester City in the Premier League last Saturday to which the Saints fell to a 2-0 defeat.
